The Lezyne Super Drive XL is like all Lezyne products, beautiful and functional.

The Super Drive XL utilizes a machined aluminum body which is durable, dissipates heat, and looks fantastic. Additional cut outs allow for side visibility.

The machined aluminum body houses the MOR optics, Constant Current circuitry, and battery. Maximum Optical Reflection (MOR) is the technology that Lezyne uses to ensure the beam and pattern of the light is optimized for maximum effectiveness.

Tail lights are mandatory, we know it, you know it. Even Skid knows it. The problem lies with the big hole in your bike shorts because of misplaced or oversized tail lights that impede the flow of your go. Kudos to Fizik who have successfully solved this age old dilemma with the Blink.

It all started in 2007 when Fizik's began incorporating an ICS (thatโ€™s Integrated Clip System to you laymen) into their best-selling saddles. The ICS looks like a little plastic receptacle under the saddle shell, but it is oh so much more. That little plastic receptacle is a girl, it has a female opening and perfectly hooks into the Blink that has a male receptacle. When a Fizik saddle with an ICS and a Fizik Blink light love each other very muchโ€ฆ you know where weโ€™re goinโ€™ with this.

Seriously though, the point is that the Blink fits perfectly under the saddle so you have no unsightly wires, wrap or connectors and your thighs wonโ€™t rub against it so it will save your shorts.

The Blink has two bright LED's, and has two settings: blinking or constant. It works much like one of those tap lights that you put into your cabinets. To turn it on, off and switch between the two setting you just press on the light itself. This is a cool feature because you donโ€™t have to take your eyes off the road to flip a tiny camouflaged switch. The unit uses one CR2032 battery in an easy switch box so you can swap the battery without tools.

For the TFZero Fondriest takes a pass on the aero road bike movement and sticks with round tube shapes. Why stay with round tube shapes? Round tubes perform in every direction, vertically, horizontally, and laterally, round tubes are responsive to every demand. Round tubes not only perform, they can be made lighter than tubes with an aerodynamic profile, and this is the performance key with the TFZero. This frame makes an excellent choice for someone that likes to climb. Of course, as the saying goes: โ€œwhat goes up must come down,โ€ and for that you need a stiff and solid ride.

The TFZero isnโ€™t just light, itโ€™s also very stiff. The large headtube houses the custom made monocouqe carbon tapered fork. Tapering from 1 1/8 to 1 1/5 the steer tube is light while maintaining high stiffness and strength. The downtube is large and securely joins the headtube and bottom bracket together. Due to the rectangular chainstays, youโ€™ll find acceleration to be effortless.

Usually with a frame this stiff and light sacrifices have to be made with the ride quality. Not so with the TFZero. Custom carbon layups contribute to the ride quality, as do the seatstays. The seatstays are thin compared to the rest of the frame and contribute greatly to the resilient ride quality.

So, while this frame is an excellent weapon should you choose to assault the Angrilu, donโ€™t be intimidated ,itโ€™s easy to ride this frame all day with your friends or in a Gran Fondo.

The TF3 1.2 is identical to the TF2 with regard to the geometry. The real difference is in the carbon layup. While the TF2 is designed for maximum stiffness and efficiency, the TF3 is designed for a little more compliance and comfort. The comfort comes at a minimal cost to weight, while the monetary savings will keep your credit rating positive.

The TF2 uses a very stiff 3K Carbon Boomerang Technology 4X4 Twill material and the TF3 uses a Carbon Monocoque material. The carbon of the TF3 is still very stiff and has a high weight to rigidity ratio, but doesnโ€™t quite reach the stiffness of the TF2.

Aside from the material difference, you do find the same characteristics of the TF2 on the TF3. The first is the Reflex Fork. The Reflex Fork is among the best performing forks out there. It has a specially designed shape that provides great torsional stiffness, increased resilience while sprinting and great performance.

The proprietary seatpost is semi integrated and has an aerodynamic profile. An additional benefit we have found with the aero post is that itโ€™s always perfectly aligned. All you have to do is determine the saddle height and tighten the integrated seat clamp.

The framesetโ€™s โ€˜1.2โ€™ means it uses internal cable routing and is compatible with both mechanical and electric groups. The frame ships with this internal routing, but a quick use of the included hardware allows you to convert it to an electronic frameset. It has the internal routing for electronic along with the required external holes for electronic. It is Fondriestโ€™s best value and still provides great cornering.

The Fondriest TF2 1.0 is the stiffest frame in their line-up. It is so stiff because it is made from 3K Carbon Boomerang Technology 4x4 Twill material. Boomerang Technology is the use of several monocoque elements that have been assembled/bonded together. In this case, each piece of the 7-piece frame has been carved from 3K monocoque carbon. (Monocoque literally means one shell.) The 4X4 Twill refers to the way in which the carbon has been weaved. The weave on the 4x4 Twill is very tight, making it extremely stiff.

The TF 2 uses a Reflex Fork. This is one of the highest performing forks around. The shape provides great torsional stiffness, excellent performance and resilience while sprinting.

The seat stays feature VAS, or Vibration Absorbing System. VAS uses special curved seat stays that are designed to absorb road vibration nicely and still protect the strength of the frame.

The frame also features monocoque carbon dropouts and a tapered head tube. The cable routing has gone the internal route and the frame is both mechanical and electric groupset compatible.

This is an EXTREMELY stiff bike. We cannot express how stiff it really is until you ride it yourself. It is designed to be a great racing bike that has little to no give, while allowing very little road vibration to be transmitted. If ultimate stiffness is what youโ€™re after, the Fondriest TF2 1.0 is for you.

The 2012 Time iClic 2 Racer Pedals have dropped 35 grams over the 2011 model and have an updated wear plate. The wear plate on the iclic 2โ€™s are made from stainless steel. This improves the smoothness of the float.

The iClic system is similar to that of a ski binding. It is a Time patented system that is open until you put your cleat into the pedal. It clamps down on the cleat, holding it securely in place until you are ready to unclick. Once you unclick, the mechanism stays open until you are ready to click in, again.

As with all the iClic pedals, the Racer uses a carbon blade instead of a spring adjustment system. The iClic was the first pedal to use a flexible carbon blade instead of the metal spring adjustment system seen on many other pedals. The blade keeps the weight down and is much more durable than the spring adjustment system.

The composite body is mated to a steel axle. The body material and steel axle do add weight over the Titan Carbon model, but the pedal is still very lightweight (5 grams lighter than the Look Keo Blade CroMo pedals).
