The Cateye HL-EL450 is the smart upgrade from the HL-EL220. The EL450 offers more light and a lockable switch that will prevent unintended on/off changes.

Cateyeโ€™s EL450 is a single LED configuration, with high, low and flashing light modes. Light quality is improved with Cateyeโ€™s OptiCube lens which focuses the beam.

The EL450 from Cateye runs on 3 AAA batteries, producing 720 candlepower and has a run time of 30 hours in high beam. Expect significantly longer times in low and flashing.

Mounts using a tool free adjustable bracket. A simple clip lets you attach/detach the light, leaving the bracket on your bar for your next adventure.

The Lezyne Super Drive XL is like all Lezyne products, beautiful and functional.  

The Super Drive XL utilizes a machined aluminum body which is durable, dissipates heat, and looks fantastic.  Additional cut outs allow for side visibility.

The machined aluminum body houses the MOR optics, Constant Current circuitry, and battery. Maximum Optical Reflection (MOR) is the technology that Lezyne uses to ensure the beam and pattern of the light is optimized for maximum effectiveness.  

The Constant Current circuitry controls the brightness, and displays the remaining battery charge.  With 500 lumens available for 1.5 hours, the Super Drive XL is extremely bright.  

The battery is Micro USB rechargeable.  In a move we would like to see more often the rechargeable battery is also interchangeable, meaning you can bring a spare or spares with you if you have a long ride planned.

Mounts directly to your handlebar with the included composite matrix clamps and shims.

The Lezyne Super Drive XL offers 500 lumens for 1.5 hours, 350 lumens for 2.5 hours, and 175 lumens for 5 hours.  Flashing mode will give you 5 hours of run time.
